Info On Damaged Hair Repair Products

By Richard Wright

The one thing women love and cherish very much is their hair. The amount of money and time they spend on their products is astonishing. A woman wants to look nice regardless whether they are short or long. One thing that causes panic and sorrow is when she notices that they do not look as health and shiny as it used to be. This leads to a panic and the lady will do anything to restore her it. Cosmetic and beauty companies are making a lot of money in selling damaged hair repair products to such women.

This a very appealing but very delicate and brittle part of the body and certain everyday processes weaken it Constant use of chemicals, bleaches and coloring leaves them weak, using the blow drier and flat irons regularly leaves weakens and brittle them leading to breakage. People who leave the same hairstyle on for too long especially weaves are also prone to breakage.

Neglect by failing to wash and applying moisturizers and treatment can cause damage although they should not be washed everyday. Not including a balance diet during mealtime means that they are denied important nutrients like proteins and oils that give it its lustre shine one should also take note of the brushes and combs used and avoid brushing them too much.

The cosmetic industry has for the longest time been booming and it continues to do well. Today, almost every middle income home can afford to buy a blow drier and a flat iron or curling machine. It is also possible for high school children to buy themselves chemicals like perm kits and blow out kits, as most are affordable. However, this is contributing to the problem of damaging natural hairs.

Over the years, many African ladies had opted to have straight hairs and therefore used chemicals to perm it. Recently however, many have reverted back to the natural African look. This means no more chemicals but to repair the damage that was done over years, one has to use repair products which may take time but will eventually get ones hairs to their natural healthy look.

The products available are many and whatever one chooses will depend on what caused the damage to begin with. It will also depend on the type being repaired and the cost of the product. For those that are heat-damaged, the first step is to reduce the amount of exposure to heat stylers like driers, blow dryers and curlers.

The good news about these care remedies is that they do not have to be expensive. It is possible to make them in the comfort of your home using readily available foods in the house. The most commonly used foodstuffs include eggs, avocado, bananas, honey, milk olive oil and vinegar among others.

When looking for these repair products it is advisable to note that the most advertised or expensive one may not often be the best for you as everyone has a different body metabolism which means certain chemicals react differently with them. Shopping around gives one a chance to compare and dermatologists often advice customers to use one product for a time and later change to another to contrast the effects.
